I just had to share this article with you about hammock which I have to say I found rather amusing. I found this post in a pregnancy forum which was entitled “Hank Panky” In a Hammock. It is about a newly married couple who went on a cruise. Thye visited one of the islands from the launch boat and managed to find a hammock ashore. Now they werent alone when they went on this trip. They were joined by hundreds of other people on the island as well.

As it turned out both the husband and wife felt like relaxing on the hammock. As it turns out though, they got up to more than just relaxing on the hammock. They assumed the spoon position and one thing lead to another. Lets not forget that there were over hundred people milling around the island at the same time.

Now the couple in question obviously didn’t want to let on that they were up to no good so pretended that were napping on the hammock. Between the jigs and the reels they werent caught for their shenanigans and didnt manage to conceive there and then but they are expecting now.

The internet is a crazy place, who would have thought that somebody would have taken the time to set up a forum dedicated to hammocks. No great surprise I suppose when you think of all the other mad forums that people set up.

Just reading some of the comments that people make about hammocks in quite interesting in itself.One person talks about going to a park with their hammock and finding 2 trees to hang their hammock between so they can read their book. The same person also comments that he doesnt have any trees at home to hang them from hence needing to go to the park.

People do get rather nostalgic about hammocks as others chatted about roasting marshmallows over an open fire and another mentioned that she could remember as a child laying in her Dad’s jungle hammock reading for hours.

When most people think of hammocks then think of falling out of them as well as the hard work of attaching them between 2 points. I posted a video a while back of a bear hopping into a hammock. Well in this video it goes a step further where the mother and baby get into the hammock.

The quality of the video isnt great as it was made in 1998. It seems like the Japanese tourists who are filming it are having the times of their lives. They sound incredibly excited and were probably on their 1st trip to the US

What is extraordinary is the fact the the bears know the way to use it.

The little bear sure knows how to persevere and is trying to get into it any which way he can.

The old adage “If at first you dont succeed, try try again” springs to mind. However at the end of the day both bears learned a lesson they probably wont forget in rush when they both fell out onto the ground from the hammock.

I expect their pride was wounded more than any pain they would have sufffered from the fall out of the hammock.

Anything can happen in the wild wild west. If you don’t believe me then check out this video of is the bear who fell asleep in a  hammock. This story went all over the world and Amis the bear became a bit of an internet sensation video has been viewed over 80,000 times and a lot of people obviously like it as 61 different people have  left comments.

Amis is a bear who has a bit of a weakness for hammocks as you can see. I think the opening sequence where he is lying on his back is  just brilliant. I dont think I have ever seen a black bear enjoying himself so much in a hammock.

You would swear he does this every day. Actually from looking at the video one thing is for sure this isnt his first time in a hammock and it wont be his last.
